What do I do or have besides my books? My family!

That's my hubby and me - 

The kitty is Malaspina (we call her Mallie). Steve and I got her when we were together for about 3 months. She's a spoiled little thing and most of the time she really can't stand me. She's very much a daddy's girl, and my hubby likes it that way! My pup is Baxter. He's an 8 1/2 year old dachshund. He's got some back and knee problems and right now he lives with my parents because he howls when I'm not around, and with hubby and I living in an apartment, we would've been kicked out quite quickly. As soon as hubs and I get into a house, he'll be coming with us. (I'm curious as to how, exactly, Mallie and Baxter will get along---)
